Zoe's Office - May 27

When Zoe came into her office Saturday afternoon, she was expecting to find things exactly as she left them, with a possible new stack of paperwork sitting on her desk.

What she wasn't expecting to find was underwear of various sizes and colors scattered about the place.

"You have got to be kidding me." With a sigh, she turned around and headed for the PA system to make an announcement, and then came back to her office to wait for the victims to arrive.

[open to anyone who wants their boxers back. you can handwave that you came and got them if you want.]

"Err, yes, ma'am," Peter said. "I'm sorry for both of our sakes that this happened. Um, can I just, err, take mine, or is there some sort of bizarre paperwork...? I hope there's no paperwork. Please say there's no paperwork needed to get my underwear back."

Zoe glanced at Peter with a smirk. "Hmmm, paperwork. Now that's a smart idea. I should have thought of creating some sort of form that would enable me to hold your underwear hostage. Because clearly, I'm enjoying having it all around that much."

"I think I'm going to assume that you're joking, grab my boxers, and leave as quickly as possible because - no offense meant - not assuming that would freak me out far too much and then I'd just be leaving as quickly as possible, possibly forgetting my boxers while doing so, and that wouldn't make the situation any better for me."

Peter quickly grabbed his boxers, took one more look around the office, and said, "Thank you, ma'am. I hope you have a good day free of any unwanted underwear." He facepalmed. "I think I'm just going to leave now, thank you."

Zoe watched Peter scramble towards the door with a bit of a smug grin. "Yes, I was joking. You're free to take your underwear and leave. Just try to hold onto them this time."
