Zoe's Office Hours - July 27

Zoe had tried to ignore it for as long as she could. Everyone was doing it, she'd realized, and she'd never been one to go along with the crowd. But even a woman with her strength could only be resistant for so long. Yes, Zoe had finally given in, and was trying to complete a Sudoku puzzle.

The door is open for anyone who needs her.

Tim knocked.

"Come in," Zoe replied, looking up.

Tim entered. "Hi, uh, Principal Zoe."

Zoe's eyesbrows raised a little but she didn't say anything about the name. "Hello. Can I help you?"

"Yeah, Uhm, a kind of family emergency has come up and I need to go back home for a week. I checked in with the office but figured I'd cover all my bases."

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope everything is all right. And don't worry, as long as you checked in at the office, you're covered."

Zoe smiled softly. "Not a problem."
