Zoe's Office - August 26

Zoe didn't spend many weekend days in her office, but with the threat of knowledge that new students would be arriving within days, it seemed like a good idea to be extraordinarily prepared.

The door is open for anyone who needs her.

"I'd like to do a book drive," Willow said. "Nothing too fancy, just asking students and townies to donate books that they might not be using anymore, asking for books the school library might not want anymore, that sort of thing. The books would then be donated to the libraries of towns in need, as appropriate. For example Peter's hometown really needs books, but books on car repair wouldn't be very useful."

"Yay!" Willow said, all but bouncing on her feet. "Thank you! I mean I heard his town lacked books and then I thought of other people lacking books and I know there can be higher priorities like food and safety and shelter but books need love and people need books so why not try to make them matchy, you know?"

"Is it okay if I post flyers in the hallways?" Willow asked. "And maybe put an ad on the radio?"

"Yay!" Willow bounced again. "Thank you very much! And, you know, if you have any books to donate - " Willow finished that by silently holding out her hands. She was grinning, though, so clearly not expecting any now.

"Thank you!" Willow said. "I can stop by another time to come collect them. In the meanwhile, I have a radio ad to write! Thank you very much, ma'am!"
