Today marked yet another round of the eternal battle between Zoe and school-related paperwork. Zoe was currently winning, but the tide could turn at any moment.

The door was open for anyone who needed to talk to her.

Zoe glanced up at the knock, and smiled broadly at both of them. "Well, hello there."

"Um, hi," Bel said, shifting uncomfortably. "Um, I'm not sure what you've been told, but I'm not dead, and I'm not evil. Anymore. But I was wondering if I'd been expelled or anything."

"I was hoping that what I was hearing about you being alive was true," Zoe said. "You weren't expelled, just marked as deceased. But I would happy to make sure that's changed, if you're planning on not being dead again any time soon."

"Not planning on it," Bel said solemnly. "I just wanna finish my classes and graduate."

"Well, then there's still a place for you here," she replied. "Welcome back."

That would be a happy smile that Phoebe is giving Zoe right now.

"Thanks," Bel said to Zoe in relief. "I know I gotta talk to my teachers about making up the work that I missed, but I'll catch up, I promise."

"Good. If you have any trouble, let me know. I'm sure we can find a way to get something worked out."

"Thanks," Bel said happily. "I'm just glad to be back, and I won't cause any trouble, I swear."
