Zoe's Office - May 29

Zoe had calmed down somewhat after the catharsis of her rant from the previous day. For the moment, letting go of some of her anger and worry allowed her focus on the more important tasks at hand: organizing all of her paperwork for the new students, and dealing with the feeling of being about twenty months pregnant.

"You can come out any time you want now," she murmured, rubbing her hand over her belly. "You don't have to make me wait two more months. Your daddy and I won't mind, I promise."

"Barring any kind of chaos in which my presence is expressly needed, I'm planning on staying out until the fall semester starts."

"Chaos? I think we've had our recommended daily dosage times a million. Don't worry. Relax!" He smiled. "With me in charge, you'll have nothing to worry about."

"I feel reassured already," Zoe replied. Reassured that she was going to have to start figuring out what to lock away before she actually went into labor, that is.

"Great!" He gave two flaming thumbs up. "Well, anyway. I think we've exhausted the conversation," namely, Hades couldn't think of anything else he needed to know, "So I'll go back to my shamble of an office and let you get back to being pregnant."

"All right," she said, smirking. "If you do end up needing anything while I'm on maternity leave, I'll still be in town. Just so you know."

"Then I'll know exactly where to find you." He gave another smile, a little flippant wave and wandered out the door, badly patched robes trailing behind him.
