Zoe's Office - June 1

Thanks to the whole serial attacker mess, Zoe was making a determined effort to listen to the radio every night. Even though she was almost positive that Jim's warning had been a joke, but she wasn't a hundred percent certain. So, for the moment, she was experimenting with putting books and boxes of various sizes on her chair, to see what would happen.

In a moment of sheer horror, Zoe realized that she actually kind of missed having Jamie Madrox around. He would have made the perfect chair-tester at a time like this.

[For Jim, but open if anyone else wants to come by.]

Jim heard the announcement. He had to wonder how much trouble he was in but, really, there was only one way to find out. He knocked on Zoe's door.

"Hi," Jim said. "I'm Jim Halpert. You wanted to see me?"

"Do I have to?" Jim asked, walking over despite his question. He put on a face of concern, just in case.

Jim thought about whether or not Principal Washburn would actually go so far as to boobytrap her own chair to mess with him. If she would, then at least he'd be pranked by the principal. That would be kind of cool, actually. "No, I can do it," he said.

He took a deep breath and sat down... and nothing happened. "While I'm sitting here, am I technically principal?"
