Office Hours - September 15

Enough days had passed that Zoe was finally feeling less terrible about the past weekend. She didn't so much mind being rivals with Anakin now - it was fairly entertaining at this point, pitting their families against each other and all - and she hadn't been that cruel to Tony Stark, thank goodness. But Zoe was starting to seriously worry about Grace's taste in men, and considering she wasn't even old enough to go to school yet, that wasn't the kind of concern she wanted to have.

It didn't help that Grace kept asking if she could go to Jamie's office. No good would come of that, ever.

"My booze senses are tingling," Deadpool said, leaning in to the doorway.

"Your booze senses are good," Zoe said, pointing to the box on her desk. "Someone left that outside my office, in exchange for us having to deal with Jamie."

"It could be poisoned," Deadpool warned her. "You should give it to me for testing."

A beat.

"And drinking."

"You can have some of the bottles if you want, but I'm keeping some too. I'll take the risk of poisoning."

"Are you sure?"

"Grace was married to Jamie this weekend. I am damn sure," Zoe replied.

"...I'll leave you half if we don't tell anyone else we got 'em?"

"Deal," Zoe said, grinning. "Whoever brought them certainly won't tell."
