Office Hours - November 25

There weren't any classes today, but Zoe was still in her office. She was just as firmly set in denial as she'd been when she first hadn't been able to reach John, and when Sam told her that Dean was missing too...well, when she got to her office and found that her desk was unexpectedly black, she almost laughed sardonically. It did seem rather fitting with the mood she was in.

[Door and post are open!]

It had been late when Susan got back to the dorms- Actually, no, it'd been late when she'd left, and she'd gotten back only a minute or to later, if she was striving for narrative accuracy. She'd thought it too late to track down an authority figure* at the time, but today there was no excuse not to.

She knocked politely at the door and said, "Principal Winchester?"

*She'd be able to find them easily enough if she tried, but it was a holiday in addition to being late. Even in the middle of a crisis, that was no excuse to go losing your manners.

"No," said Susan slowly, "but I might have some information for you. I think I know what might be behind what's happening."

She sat obediently, and warned, "I don't know much about what they're doing, but I believe I know who's behind it. Have you ever heard of Auditors? The reality-auditing type, nothing to do with taxes."

"Apparently they're in charge of making sure things go a certain way," she explained. "Life, being nice and unpredictable, doesn't exactly fit the way they would like it to. I can only imagine what they might think of Fandom itself. But because it won't fit, they're... interfering."

"Yes. If you can't beat humanity, get rid of them," said Susan. "I don't know how, or how to fix it, but it's something."

"I want to be able to do more." Which was both wistful and wanting to help, and thanks to her stupid granddad with his stupid rules and stupid not getting involved even though it wasn't his first stupid time getting involved.
